Guan Yu in Reunion at Gucheng. Guan Yu was the second sworn brother of Liu Bei, founder of Shu, one of the Three Kingdoms. On the stage he wears a red make-up and a fuzi helmet, symbols of an upright and honest man, for he was unswervingly loyal to his elder brother Liu Bei.
